Q + A

You are not required to stay at Hilton Howell, but we have reserved rooms at a reduced rate. Our accommodations are a 20 minute drive from our ceremony and reception venue! Check-in is at 3:00 p.m. and check out is at 11:00 a.m. The cutoff date for reserving within our block is June 23rd, 2026 (06/23/26), any reservations made ON or AFTER this date will be made at the regular booking rate. The cancellation policy allows for changes to your reservation up to 72 hours before check-in to avoid cancellation fee of one night's rate. Hampton Inn & Suites Howell

We suggest flying into Detroit Metro, DTW, which is around 40 minutes from the hotel block we have reserved. Please let us know if you need any assistance getting from the airport to your accommodations, as we are more than willing to help you get where you need to go.

Waldenwoods Cabin Rentals

Travel

The Ann Arbor Art Fair runs from Thursday, July 16th through Saturday, July 18th in downtown Ann Arbor! Several city blocks are reserved for local and independent vendors to set up and display/sell their art. Paid parking is available in a few select lots near the downtown area as well as several large parking structures. Handicap-accessible parking will be available but scarce.

Things to Do

Registry

Our ceremony will be taking place outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather. A light-colored suit or nice button-down shirt with khakis will work nicely. Lighter colored/floral dresses or pantsuits are also fitting for the occasion. Though this is not a strictly formal event, we appreciate your effort to maintain class and elegance for our wedding.Please, no sneakers or jeans! Avoid dark grays and black, along with solid whites or off-white. Certain floral-print dresses with a light base color may be appropriate, but please proceed with caution. We have attached a few pics for inspiration below. Feel free to reach out with any dress code related questions!
